Why We Built This Site
Nebraska’s public court-record framework has several access channels. A Register of Actions is a chronological court record, while a certified order is a clerk-issued document. Boone County Court and Boone District Court share an Albion location and a published court-clerk contact, yet their case types differ. JUSTICE is the statewide trial-court system, while eFiling is for authorized filing and service rather than a public case-history screen. The material here identifies those boundaries and the official source that controls each task.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routes: how criminal court dockets and civil court dockets are found and read.
- Settings: how to use the court schedule and then confirm a hearing with the court.
- Case access: how the statewide docket search uses party names and case numbers.
- Clerk records: how court case records and certified copies move through the court clerk.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Nebraska court, court clerk, or state agency. The following limits apply:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
